Bread is one of the most wasted foods in the world, so we’re putting it at the centre of the table.
In New Zealand alone, around 29 million loaves of bread are thrown away every year. Globally, an estimated 900,000 tonnes of bread are wasted annually. Breaking Bread is a response to that reality.
For this special early-evening feast, Chef Archana Kurup will reimagine surplus bread in creative and delicious ways. The menu is designed for sharing and connection, with multiple courses served as grazing bites, finger food, and generous family-style plates, with refills coming from the kitchen.
Whether you come with friends or book on your own, you’ll be seated at a shared table with other like-minded foodies: breaking bread, meeting new people, and connecting over food.
Each ticket includes a house-made, non-alcoholic signature beverage on arrival.
Please note: we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions or allergies at this event.
