Opened in 2022, our Wellington restaurant is situated in the heart of the city, where everyone is welcome. As our second permanent restaurant, it has quickly established itself as a community hub, bringing together diverse individuals to share delicious meals and meaningful connections. With our pay-what-you-can model, we strive to ensure that all diners can enjoy a dignified dining experience, fostering a sense of belonging and support within the vibrant Wellington community.
As always, it's a pay-what-you-can experience, so come along, share a meal with the community, and contribute what you can. Be sure to say hello to your friendly volunteer server.
We serve a different three course meal everyday. There is always a vegetarian option, and we can cater to most dietaries, just let your server know when you're seated.

Meet the passionate individuals who are the driving force behind Everybody Eats Wellington. There's Alicia our expert Head Chef, Jack the jack of all trades Restaurant Manager (and Chef, and events organiser, and community connector...), Lauren our mighty food rescuer and Erin our comms and admin officer who you'll also often see on the floor. Plus, a whole host of committed volunteers who are in the thick of it doing the mahi every day. Read moreWe’re happy to take bookings for groups of 4 or more! If you’re a smaller group, feel free to pop in—chances are we’ll seat you right away, and if not, the wait is usually no more than 15 minutes. For groups larger than 12, just reach out to us and we’ll get everything sorted.
